You can make your own battery pack. Making a battery pack requires some basic tools and materials, and requires following certain steps for operation. Here are some basic steps and required materials:
Preparation materials:
Battery cells (such as 18650 batteries)
Insulation materials (such as barley paper, boxwood board)
Adhesive tape (high-temperature insulation tape)
Connecting piece
Screws and nuts
Protective board (optional)
Heat shrink tubing, copper nose
PE foam, epoxy resin board
3M double-sided tape, fiber tape
PVC heat shrink film, neutral structural adhesive
Assembly steps:
Design casing: When purchasing battery cells, pay attention to the size and position of electrode holes when purchasing casings, or when designing casings yourself
.
Cutting insulation layer: Use barley paper or boxwood board to cut it into appropriate sizes and paste it on the battery cell.
Wrapping tape: Wrap the battery cell with high-temperature insulation tape to ensure the insulation of the electrode.
Installation of connection pieces: Select the appropriate connection pieces based on the number of strings and parallel welding methods of the battery pack, and install them properly.
Screwing and fixing: Leave a screw on each electrode to connect the protective board and the collection line, and fix the collection line with double-sided tape
.
Electrode insulation: Perform insulation treatment on the electrode, make connecting wires for the total positive and negative electrodes, use soft silicone wires, and cover them with heat shrink tubing.
Filling and packaging: Fill the gaps with PE foam, fix the battery cell group with epoxy resin board and 3M double-sided tape, and finally package the battery cell group with PVC heat shrink film, and waterproof the two ends with neutral structural adhesive.
Attention:
Safety first: Pay attention to safety during operation to avoid risks such as electric shock and fire.
Quality inspection: Ensure that each step is carried out according to requirements to avoid unstable battery performance or safety hazards caused by improper operation.
