The lithium battery packaging components mainly include the following parts:
Battery cell: This is the core part of the battery, determining its capacity and performance. There are three main types of battery cells according to their appearance: square shell, cylindrical, and soft pack (polymer battery).
Battery module: composed of multiple individual cells, connected in series and parallel through busbars. Common connection methods include screw locking, resistance welding, ultrasonic welding, ultrasonic aluminum wire welding, and laser welding.
Institutional system: including battery PACK cover, tray, various metal brackets, end plates and bolts, etc., which play a supporting, anti mechanical impact and protective role.
Electrical system: composed of high-voltage jumper or high-voltage wire harness, low-voltage wire harness, and relays, responsible for real-time transmission of power transmission and control signals.
Thermal management system: including air cooling, water cooling, liquid cooling, phase change materials, etc., to ensure that the battery operates at a suitable temperature and prevent overheating or overcooling.
Battery Management System (BMS): Responsible for monitoring the status of the battery, including voltage, current, temperature, etc., to ensure the safe and efficient use of the battery.
Auxiliary materials: such as busbars, flexible connections, protective boards, outer packaging, output connectors, barley paper, plastic brackets, etc.
